Established in August of 2021, Indigo Dance Collective is a professional dance education studio and company based in Benton, Ky. Our mission is to provide the highest quality dance education and choreography by qualified professionals to dancers in the Marshall County area and beyond. Additionally, we strive to train and develop not only strong dancers, but smart dancers as they step out of the studio into everyday life. We like to think we're not your run of the mill studio, but we'll leave that up to you to decide.
THE STUDIO
When you're at Indigo, we don't just want you to feel like you're in a studio space, we want you to feel at home.
Indigo Dance Collective is located at 1209 Poplar Street in Benton, Ky.
The facility includes 2 fully equipped studio rooms with wall to wall mirrors lined with LED lights to create the ultimate performance mood during classes, while wall mounted ballet barres line the opposite sides. Our sound system is top of the line JBL speakers provided by Harman Audio, that can be moved anywhere around the studio to create a fully immersive music experience.
The floors are state of the art Timestep Marley on top of a Springstep IV Subfloor system provided by Stagestep, Inc. A spring floor system is critical to reduce unnecessary pressure on dancers' joints and more efficiently absorbs impact from jumps, turns, and all high impact movement that dancers experience during a typical class.
